Delivery day: when you take the keys, not when you book it.
There are 8 shubh days for buying a vehicle in January 2027: 1, 10, 11, 20, 22, 27, 29 and 31 January. The strongest is Wednesday, 27 January 2027, at 91%. 11 January (94%) scores higher, but falls in Kharmas (when the Sun is in Dhanu or Meen), which many families wait out, so it is not named as the strongest. 3 of them fall in Kharmas, which many North Indian families wait out. 4 more days have a muhurat that falls only at night or falls under Bhadra (Vishti karana, the half-tithi kept clear of new work), and are not counted.
Every day listed already meets the rules below. The % only ranks them against each other: it weighs the day’s tithi, nakshatra, weekday, yoga and karana for this work, and 80% and up is the strongest.
8 shubh days for buying a vehicle in January 2027; below, every day of the month, shubh or not, and why.
What counts is the delivery: the moment you take the keys and the vehicle first moves, not the day you book it. Many families do a small puja then, a swastik in roli on the bonnet and a coconut broken before it, and take the first drive to a temple.

Clock times are for New Delhi; they move with sunrise, by up to about an hour across India. The tithi and the nakshatra are the same everywhere. For your own city, use the vehicle purchase muhurat finder.
These are the rules the standard panchangs apply for this work; they go back to the classical muhurat texts, Muhurta Chintamani above all.
Muhurta Chintamani sorts the 27 nakshatras by nature: fixed (dhruva), for what is meant to last; swift (kshipra), for trade, learning and quick starts; soft (mridu), for gentle things such as friendship and music; movable (chara), for what moves, such as travel. This work takes the fixed ones (Rohini), the swift ones (Pushya, Hasta), the soft ones (Mrigashira, Chitra, Anuradha, Revati) and the movable ones (Punarvasu, Swati, Shravana, Dhanishta, Shatabhisha). It leaves out the rikta (“empty”) tithis, Chaturthi, Navami and Chaturdashi, which are kept clear of beginnings, and Amavasya, the dark night. Its table also leaves out Shukla Pratipada, Dwitiya, Saptami and Dwadashi, and Krishna Dwitiya, Saptami and Dwadashi, which it does not count among this work’s tithis. Tuesday is Mangal’s day and Saturday is Shani’s day, and Mangal and Shani are krura (harsh) grahas: those days are left out.
