There are 12 types of Kaal Sarp Dosh, named after different serpents, depending on the house positions of Rahu and Ketu: Anant, Kulik, Vasuki, Shankhpal, Padma, Mahapadma, Takshak, Karkotak, Shankhchur, Ghatak, Vishdhar, and Sheshnaag. Each type affects different life areas — for example, Anant Kaal Sarp (Rahu in 1st, Ketu in 7th) affects personality and marriage, while Padma Kaal Sarp (Rahu in 5th, Ketu in 11th) impacts children and gains.
