Saturn’s short mantra, built on its seed syllable “Sham”. Saying it every week without fail is itself the discipline Saturn asks for.
Neelam (blue sapphire) is not a general Sade Sati remedy. It suits some charts and harms others, so wear it only after your own kundli has been checked.
For Vrishchik in particular: Mangal, your rashi lord, is counted an enemy by Shani, so strengthening Mangal protects the courage and effort this Sade Sati tests: recite the Mangal Kavach Stotra, Mangal's hymn of protection, on Tuesdays. On Tuesdays too, give masoor dal and jaggery at a Hanuman temple, the daan (charity) tradition sets for Mangal.
Saturn in the 4th from the Moon is Kantaka Shani (in the south, Ardhashtama Shani), and in the 8th is Ashtama Shani: Dhaiyya, or Small Panoti, about two and a half years each. “Shani is on you” is said of all three, and which it is changes the dates completely. Neither is running for Vrishchik today.

Saturn takes about twenty-nine and a half years to go round, so Sade Sati comes back roughly that often: two or three times in a long life.
The wrong rashi. Sade Sati is counted from the Moon sign, not the Sun sign most people know; the two match for about one person in twelve. Find your Moon sign.
Sidereal, not tropical. Vedic dates use the sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri ayanamsa, the Government of India standard. A site on tropical positions moves every date by about two years.

It can be heavier. Vrishchik’s lord, Mars, is Saturn’s enemy, so tradition reads it as one of the harder Sade Satis. Heavier is not hopeless: routine and the upay matter most here.
The ones tradition keeps coming back to are free: the Shani mantra on Saturdays, Hanuman Chalisa on Tuesdays and Saturdays, seva for workers and the elderly, and a mustard-oil diya under a pipal. Neelam is not a general remedy; wear it only after your own chart has been checked.
