The lord of Tula is Venus, a friend of Saturn, so tradition counts Tula among the rashis for which Sade Sati is gentler: slow, demanding, but rarely crushing. Saturn is also exalted in Tula itself, so the peak phase is the fairest of the three.

Om Sham Shanaishcharaya Namah
Saturn’s short mantra, built on its seed syllable “Sham”. Saying it every week without fail is itself the discipline Saturn asks for.
Neelam (blue sapphire) is not a general Sade Sati remedy. It suits some charts and harms others, so wear it only after your own kundli has been checked.
For Tula in particular: As your yogakaraka, Shani is worth strengthening rather than only appeasing: recite the Shani Kavach, Shani's hymn of protection, on Saturdays, and keep to the discipline Shani rewards. For Shukra, your rashi lord and Shani's friend, chant Om Shukraya Namah 108 times on Fridays, so that a strong rashi lord helps you carry the home and children's matters this Sade Sati brings.
Saturn in the 4th from the Moon is Kantaka Shani (in the south, Ardhashtama Shani), and in the 8th is Ashtama Shani: Dhaiyya, or Small Panoti, about two and a half years each. “Shani is on you” is said of all three, and which it is changes the dates completely. Neither is running for Tula today.

Saturn takes about twenty-nine and a half years to go round, so Sade Sati comes back roughly that often: two or three times in a long life.

Sidereal, not tropical. Vedic dates use the sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri ayanamsa, the Government of India standard. A site on tropical positions moves every date by about two years.

Not as a rule. Tula’s lord, Venus, is Saturn’s friend, so tradition expects a slow but manageable Sade Sati; your dasha decides how it feels.
The ones tradition keeps coming back to are free: the Shani mantra on Saturdays, Hanuman Chalisa on Tuesdays and Saturdays, seva for workers and the elderly, and a mustard-oil diya under a pipal. Neelam is not a general remedy; wear it only after your own chart has been checked.
