Om Sham Shanaishcharaya Namah
Saturn’s short mantra, built on its seed syllable “Sham”. Saying it every week without fail is itself the discipline Saturn asks for.
Neelam (blue sapphire) is not a general Sade Sati remedy. It suits some charts and harms others, so wear it only after your own kundli has been checked.
For Dhanu in particular: Guru, your rashi lord, and Shani are neutral to each other, so the upay here is to keep Guru strong: on Thursdays chant Om Gurave Namah 108 times and worship Lord Vishnu, whom tradition honours on Guru's day, to support the judgement and faith people with a Dhanu Moon lean on. On Saturdays, recite the Shani Kavach, a protective hymn to Shani, for relief from Shani's afflictions.
Saturn in the 4th from the Moon is Kantaka Shani (in the south, Ardhashtama Shani), and in the 8th is Ashtama Shani: Dhaiyya, or Small Panoti, about two and a half years each. “Shani is on you” is said of all three, and which it is changes the dates completely. Saturn takes about twenty-nine and a half years to go round, so Sade Sati comes back roughly that often: two or three times in a long life.
