Which rashi has the best 2027, what Guru and Shani do through it, and who has Sade Sati or dhaiyya. Each rashi's full reading is on its own page.
2027 in short: Guru is in Kark (Cancer) from 25 January to 25 June, exalted (uchcha) and at its strongest; Shani is in Mesh (Aries) from 3 June to 19 October, debilitated (neecha) and at its weakest; Rahu stays in Makar (Capricorn) and Ketu in Kark (Cancer) all year; the solar eclipse of 2 August is the one eclipse seen from India, with sutak. Which of these helps you depends on the house each falls in from your Moon rashi — the ranking below reads all twelve.
Each rashi is scored out of 100 from what Guru (Jupiter), Shani (Saturn), Rahu and Ketu do in the houses counted from it through the year. The months named are the ones its own month scores put first and last.

Guru (Jupiter) begins 2027 in Singh (Leo). On 25 January it moves back into Kark (Cancer), its sign of exaltation (uchcha), where the classical texts (BPHS) give it its fullest strength; it stays there until 25 June. On 26 June it returns to Singh (Leo). On 26 November it moves into Kanya (Virgo). It is vakri (retrograde: seen from the Earth it appears to move backwards) until 13 April.
Shani (Saturn) begins 2027 in Meen (Pisces). On 3 June it moves into Mesh (Aries), its sign of debilitation (neecha), where it is at its weakest; it stays there until 19 October. On 20 October it moves back into Meen (Pisces). Its vakri spell runs from 9 August to 24 December.
Rahu stays in Makar (Capricorn) and Ketu in Kark (Cancer) all year: they change sign only about every eighteen months, and not in 2027.
There are 5 grahan (eclipses) in 2027: a solar eclipse on 6 February, a lunar eclipse on 21 February, a lunar eclipse on 18 July, a solar eclipse on 2 August and a lunar eclipse on 17 August. The solar eclipse of 2 August is visible from India, so sutak is kept for it — the hours before an eclipse in which worship, cooking and new work are put aside. Seen from New Delhi from 3:53 PM to 5:02 PM; sutak from 3:53 AM. 21 February and 18 July are penumbral (upachhaya) eclipses: the Moon only dims a little, so no sutak is kept. The others are not seen from India and have no sutak.
In 2027, the wedding season runs from 15 January to 14 March, from 15 April to 13 July and from 10 November to 15 December, and the griha pravesh season from 7 February to 14 March, from 7 May to 4 July and from 10 November to 15 December. Kharmas (the Sun in Dhanu or Meen) runs until 14 January, from 15 March to 14 April and from 16 December, and Chaturmas (Vishnu's four months of rest) from 14 July to 9 November; no wedding is held in them, and for a griha pravesh the panchang gives a few days in them, though many North Indian families wait until they end. (For New Delhi; the dates day by day are on the muhurat pages.)
